Marija Vella
Co-founder
Marija is the current tech lead. Her passion for utilising technology to make a positive impact was the main driver for co-founding Podspectrix.
Marija holds a PhD in Electrical Engineering with a specialisation in image processing, AI and optimisation. Apart from her academic research, she has professional experience in the fields of medical imaging, AI and data science.
Alex Hodson
Co-founder
Alex works as a junior doctor in London and his first hand experience of the value of prevention rather than cure has driven him to develop Podspectix. He is currently the clinical lead on the project.
Alex holds degrees in both Medicine and Global Health Policy, with a focus on health economics. This has enabled him to gather evidence that makes a compelling case, both clinically and economically for our device’s widespread use.
